The MeidaTube4 Privacy Policy describes how MeidaTube4 treat personal information when you use MeidaTube4 services.

Personal Information
• Browsing medias on MeidaTube4 does not need any account with us, but if you want to upload, share and comment any medias, you need to create your own MeidaTube4 account. When you create your private account, we ask for some personal information, such as your email, password, country in order to protect your account from unauthorized access.
• MeidaTube4 will never disclose your personal information to any third party.
• Please create your password complicated enough so that it won't be easily guessed out by anyone else. MeidaTube4 is not responsible for any disclosure of your personal information if the username and password you created is too simple and hacked by a third party.
• Content Uploaded to Site. Any personal information or media content that you voluntarily disclose online (on discussion boards, in messages and chat areas, within your playback or profile pages, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.
Uses
• When you upload your medias to MeidaTube4, please make your own selection on the display level of your medias, which includes family, friend or public. It is totally up to your own selection about the viewable targets of your medias. Any medias that you submit to the MeidaTube4 sites may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels, and may be viewed by the general public if you select public viewable level. You can change your medias' display level later.
• MeidaTube4 also provide watermark protection for your images. If you select Watermark Protection for your uploaded images, our company logo will be applied to the background of your images automatically. (only images will be protected)
• Your nickname (not your email address) is displayed to other Users when you upload medias or send messages through the MeidaTube4 site and other users can contact you through comments.
• MeidaTube4 will never use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. However your registered email will be used for customer service purpose or service update notification purpose.
Information That is Publicly Available
• Your nickname will be publicly available for your medias and comments. Your email will be disclosed to your relations only, which include your family and your friends.
• You can choose to add your own head image, which will be displayed with your medias together when other users are browsing it. You can remove it from your own home page later on.
MeidaTube4 Media Directory
• Only the publicly viewable medias will be displayed in our media directory. Also in order to keep the high quality of our media directory, we have final decision on accepting or refusing any medias
Your Choices
• You can decide who will be able to view your medias;
• You can decide if your medias will be protected by our watermark;
• You can choose if you want your medias to be added to MeidaTube4 media directory
• You can modify all the above settings anytime through your account home page.
Third-party Advertisers, Links to Other Sites
• MeidaTube4 may put advertisements for third party companies on its own site. MeidaTube4 is not liable for the authenticity of any advertisements and MeidaTube4 formally declare that MeidaTube4 has no relationship with all the advertising companies besides advertising itself.
• MeidaTube4 does not provide any personally identifiable information to these third-party advertisers without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out.
